Comic Book Galaxy's Sixth Anniversary
I wish I had the time to make a bigger deal out of this than I do this week, but I did want to note that today is the sixth anniversary of Comic Book Galaxy, originally launched on September 1st, 2000.
September has always been my favourite month of the year -- the moderating effect of fall's imminent arrival on the weather, the sense of moving forward, and the bittersweet understanding (in my part of the world) that only a dozen or so weeks remain before snow and ice are an everyday obstacle, so we should make the most of the time we have before then.
Thanks to everyone still reading Comic Book Galaxy after these past six years, and thanks to each and every one of the gifted writers who has been a part of the site.
